Getting To Know Sonu Shrimali
WHERE SONU COMES FROM
Born and brought up in the 'City of Joy', Kolkata, Sonu has completed her schooling at Julien Day School, Elgin Road. She has a Master's degree in English from the prestigious Calcutta University and a B.Ed (Teacher's Training Course) from Scottish Church College. She has taught English as a subject in various prestigious schools of Kolkata like South Point School and Nopany High School among others.
A THRIVING CAREER
Sonu has 26 years of experience in teaching English and has started her own coaching center with the aim of shaping young minds. She realised that grammar is the structural foundation of our ability to express ourselves. Nowadays, all the entrance exams test the student's verbal ability and having a good foundation in English Language is paramount for acing these examinations.
HER NEW FOUND PASSION: PUBLIC SPEAKING
They say that it is never too late to follow your passion. Sonu Ma'am rightly lives by these words and has found mentoring students as well as adults in Public Speaking as her passion. She came across a recent article on Glossophobia, or the fear of speaking in public which is a very common phobia and one that is believed to affect up to 75% of the population. She now aims to impart her wisdom in this field to the world and help the people to stand out in the crowd.
